With COVID-19 forcing the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League to cancel their season, adjustments have been forced upon the organization and with other teams in the Summer Collegiate leagues and even professional sporting leagues finding ways to simulate games through different video games, the Copperheads are all in on a virtual season for the upcoming 2020 GLSCL League season.
The Copperheads will simulate games on the popular baseball game MLB The Show 20 starting on June 12th and will play a season of every scheduled home game. The virtual team will be made up of real life fans who have submitted information to be added as a created player, with the rest of the roster being added before the season starts.
