This past winter, I was sitting at Jackie O’s thinking about some beautiful summer baseball. It’s my job to get people excited for the Copperheads season, and all of a sudden, I had an idea:
Let’s give fans free merchandise, discounted tickets, and on top of that – let’s feed them for free.
Maybe I had too many Mystic Mama’s in me….But I was determined to do this. So, I set a meeting with my boss (the owner), and it went like this:

Me: “I’ve got an idea I think you’ll like. Let’s give our fans free merchandise, discounted tickets, and – I want to feed them for free.
Owner: “…...”
Me: “……..so…..what do you think?”
Owner: “………Are you kidding me?? This is the worst idea I’ve ever heard. Get out of my office.”
